Ministry Services

Key Connections Ministries believes that valuable media resources exist, but it is difficult for those who produce those resources to effectively distribute them into the hands of national pastors and church leaders. This is where Key Connections can provide a vital link between the producers and those who can best use those resources. Over the years we have built a strong network among the national pastors and church leaders around the Arusha area and we use that network to effectively place media resources. We have partnered with several organizations providing media resources and continue to seek new resources to better fulfill our mission vision.

  • Proclaimer

The Proclaimer is an electronic audio player produced by Faith Comes by Hearing. It plays the entire New Testament in the "heart" language of the nationals. Currently we are placing Proclaimers in the languages of Swahili and Maasai. A memory chip is utilize to store the audio which uses very little electrical power. The unit is powered by a solar panel, or a hand-crank dynamo. The fairly large built in speaker can easily accommodate audiemces up to 50 or more. We have placed over 100 of these units and plan to place another 200 units in 2010.

  • Megavoice

The MegaVoice Ambassador is an electronic audio player produced by MegaVoice. It is powered by a solar panel located on the back of the unit. This unit is able to be field loaded with any audio content which allows us to respond to specific needs for topical teaching and evangelistic audio. When that need is completed, the unit can be erased and reloaded with other audio content. Due to the compact size of this unit it is best suited for use by an audience of one to five people. We plan to place 50 of these units in 2010.
  • Saber

The Saber is an electronic audio player produced by Global Recordings Network. It is powered by a hand-crank dynamo. This unit is able to be field loaded with any audio content which allows us to respond to specific needs for topical teaching and evangelistic audio. When that need is completed, the unit can be erased and reloaded with other audio content. It is able to support an audience up to 30 listeners.
  • Flipchart/Saber sets

The flipchart/Saber sets are produced by Global Recordings Network. This set consists of nine flipcharts, a Saber player, a flipchart carrying case, a Saber carrying case, and a Saber player manual. This set provides around nine hours of audio teaching supported by visual flipchart pictures. We are currently in a trial test of 10 of these sets. The preliminary results are very encouraging. We are planning to place another 50 of these sets in 2010.
  • Christian drama videos

Over 21 titles of Christian drama videos are provided by Good News Productions. These videos cover various topical issues which impact the cultural norms in perspective with Biblical teachings.
  • Portable video player pack

The video packs are provided by Good News Productions. These packs consist of two rugged carrying cases. One case houses a video screen and a DVD player. The second case houses the power equipment: a battery; an inverter; a battery charger, and a foldable solar panel. This unit allows videos to be shown to a small group in remote locations far from any electrical power source.
  • Maasai bibles

The Maasai Bible is provided by the Bible Society of Tanzania and the Bible Society of Kenya. One of our goals is to see a time when the Maasai people can have their own Bible and read it whenever and wherever they like. We have over 1,000 of these Bibles in stock and plan to distribute them in 2010 along with facilitating literacy training classes.
  • Maasai books

We have a large selection of Maasai book titles provided by Christian Restoration Ministries. Paul Highfield lived and worked among the Maasai people for many years is now writing Bible commentaries, topical studies, and sermon preparation support books in the Maasai language. These books provide a wonderful resource for Maasai national pastors and church leaders.

3-Step Distribution Process

We have developed a three step distribution process to provide better placement and utilization of the media resources entrusted to us.

1. Provide appropriate training so the national pastor or church leader will be able to effectively use the media resource.

2. Place the media resource.

3. Follow up with the media resource recipient to verify expected results.
